Foundational Learning

This class focuses on phonemic awareness, phonics, math, reading strategies, and comprehension. Throughout the fourteen weeks students will enjoy hands on, project based learning, in a small group setting. The small group activities are planned and will be taught by fully credentialed teachers.

Recommended for students in TK, Kinder, and 1st grade

Early Elementary

We offer four classes at this level that focus on each of the core academic subjects math, reading, writing, and STEM Learning. Throughout the fourteen weeks students will enjoy hands on, project based learning, in a small group setting. The activities are planned and will be taught by fully credentialed teachers. Students are welcome to sign up for just one class or any combination of the four classes.

Recommended for students in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade.

Upper Elementary

Book Club

During the course, students will work together in a small group with the instructor to discuss, analyze, and respond to the reading verbally and in writing. Each unit will end with the students completing and presenting a project based on the book.

Writing Class

In this course students will focus on the writing process while practicing various writing styles including expository, creative, and argumentative. The class will also focus on grammar, spelling, mechanics, and vocabulary.

Recommended for students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade.
